Kindness Challenge
The Tumbleberry Tales team believes that being kind makes our hearts happy and brightens the world for everyone. Are you ready to spread some kindness? See how many of these kind acts you can do.
We'd love to hear about your kindness adventures! Did someone smile back? Did it make you feel good to be kind? Have a grown-up help you share your story on our Contact Form (or reply to a Tumblegram email).

Share a smile!
It's so simple, but a smile can do so much! Here are ideas:
Smile at someone new: Maybe a store clerk, a neighbor, or a person at the park.
Smile at family and friends: Show them how much you love them with a happy grin!
Draw a happy smiley face: You can even draw one and give it away, or stick it on your window to share smiles with the world!

Lend a helping paw (or trunk)!
It's amazing how much good you can do by simply offering to help. Here's how to get started:
Help a grown-up with a chore without being asked: tidy up toys, set the table, put away groceries, or help in the yard.
Help a friend: If you see a friend struggling with a game, a puzzle, or carrying something, ask, "Can I help you?"
Help around your home or classroom: Pick up something that fell, put a book back on the shelf, or help clean up a room.
When you help someone, you make their day a little easier. It's a wonderful feeling to know you've made a difference!

Use Kind Words
Kind words are like little gifts you give away for free. They can make someone feel happy, brave, or loved. Here are some ideas:
Give compliments: Tell someone something you like about them. Maybe "I like your drawing!" or "You're really good at jumping!"
Say "Thank You!": Always remember to thank people when they help you or do something nice. It shows appreciation.
Encourage someone: If a friend is trying something new or feeling shy, say, "You can do it!" or "Keep trying!" Your words can give them courage.
Apologize: If you accidentally hurt someone's feelings, saying "I'm sorry" helps make things right again.
